Animosity in the form of friendship and trickery in the form of benevolence ensure more success for enemies at no financial and human cost. The devil was the first creature that used this method. His hatred is derived from the jealousy of the dignity of prophet Adam (AS). Although Satan has no dominion over man, but he has used tools such as carnal soul and man’s will, and methods of temptation, false promises, causing discord, deception, corruption, etc., to lead man into aberration and corruption. But if the faithful and pious man takes refuge in God and trust in him, he will be safe from evil of the Satan. The paper first introduced the devil and Satan, and then explained their objectives from the perspective of Quran. Afterwards, the methods and tools of Satan’s threats were introduced. Finally, the ways to get rid of this threat as presented by the Quran were enumerated.

Throughout history, scientists have sought to offer a true definition of health as a concept closely related to human life. Moreover, spiritual health has managed to hold the attention of W.H.O. in recent years. The purpose of this article is to determine the humanistic principles of spiritual health on the basis of the Qur’anic teachings. Analysis of the Qur’anic teachings show that the cosmos, human, and life have two aspects: physical and metaphysical, corporal and spiritual, physical and spiritual. Human is hay muta’alleh (literally the divine living) whose health is inextricably linked with monotheism. The spiritual health is also intertwined with the concept of qalb-e salīm (literally the healthy heart). Knowledge, faith, and good behavior seem to be the three principles of spiritual health. In sum, the Qur’anic spiritual health covers (a) the health of soul through the recognition and attainment of monotheism and (b) the health of behavior through promotion of virtues and abstention from vices. Therefore, the spiritual health in the Qur’an is completely different from the secular's ones.

One of the most significant issues discussed in both religion and science is the first creation of man and his generation. To prove consistency of Islam with the scientific beliefs in this respect can undoubtedly contribute to promotion of Islam, which serves as the major objective of the present research. Using a descriptive-analytic methodology, this paper seeks to examine Darwin’s theory of human evolution based on the outlook of Allameh Tabataba’i, the great philosopher and exegete of the world of Islam, as provided in Al-Mīzān Commentary. According to Allameh’s view, the verses of the Quran explicitly state that all human beings are decedents of Adam and Eve and are created through natural processes. However, the physical aspect of the creation of Adam and Eve is autonomous and directly from soil and mud and the spiritual aspect of their creation refers to the Divine Will and Divine Breathing. According to Darwin’s theory of evolution, man evolved from other animals as a result of the environmental requirements. One should admit, however, that this remains a scientific hypothesis which has not reached the level of scientific proof and certainty, as their proponents have failed to provide convincing responses to the challenges posed by scientists, philosophers and religious scholars. In view of Allameh Tabataba’i, there is consistency between science and religion and the theory of evolution remains a scientific hypothesis for which there is no absolute support, and even on the condition that it be true and given that it be supported by scientific and absolute evidence, the outward meaning of some verses of the Quran which reject this theory is open to interpretation.

The development and expansion of pure Islam has always been based on dialogic interaction and commitment to moralities. Islam, as a perfect and universal religion, can respond to many concerns and problems of modern man. The main finding of this research is that the moral and permanent teachings of the Holy Qur'an can be a basis and a starting point for development, spiritual perfection, awareness, hope, interaction, and happiness of modern man. Attention to moral structures, emphasis on human and religious commonalities, respect for human honor and dignity, use of reasoning and proof, etc. are among the characteristics of the language of the Qur'an in this respect. The present study attempts to examine the relation between religion and Islamic ethics in responding to the challenges and concerns of contemporary man. Two main parts of this study are 1) an introduction to the importance of dialogic interaction and its role in the development and evolution of human civilization and 2) an updated analysis of Quranic dialogues from the perspective of Islamic ethics.

Some Quranic verses have either directly or indirectly referred to man's acknowledging Divine Unity in "the world of pre-existence" or "Alast". Some narrations have mentioned this as well. However, there is no consensus among thinkers as to the existence of such a world; some have argued in support of this world and others have negated its existence. The author of this paper has reviewed relevant verses and narrations as well as the assenting and dissenting views of thinkers about such a world and votes in favor of the world of pre-existence and the existence of immaterial man in that world; the author also selects the theory of men's collective presence before God, Who is beyond all temporal or spatial confines, criticizes the competing justifications, and refutes man's acknowledging God's unity before his material existence. It is argued that accepting such a confession results in the acceptance of metempsychosis and renders maturation and religious obligation vain. The merit of the present paper, compared to previous writings on this subject, is that besides a new arrangement, it analyzes Quranic verses and narrations, reviews supporting and opposing views, supports the selected theory and reports it in simple language. This is a library research of a theoretical type, and relying on the views of scholars, it carries out a content analysis and explains the concept of man's existence in the world before creation

Modern man, especially modern youth, suffers from numerous moral and psychological problems due to cultural invasionsand secular propaganda. These problems are due to the fact that, man, in the modern era, has not understood his human truth or has ignored it and has forgotten his source of peace which is God and His teachings. The only way out of these problems is to return to the true religion, to understand it and to put its teachings into practice. Islam, as the last and the most comprehensive religion, can play a pivotal role in educating man and saving him from further crises. The teenage years and youth are decisive and critical in shaping man’s personality. To make the best use of his youth, man should turn to a knowledgeable guide who knows the way; someone who is devoid of error and mistakes and the best such guide is the holy Qur’an and the correct traditions of the immaculate Imams (PBUT). What lays the foundation and paves the way forany progress and refinement is correct knowledge and understanding. It is education that guarantees such knowledge and understanding and can reinforce self discipline. The most effective and in fact the sole factor in healing moral and psychological problems is thus following religious teachings and practicing them sincerely. Therefore, the aim of Islamic education is educating Islamic individuals. This paper, with reference to the holy Qur'an, the traditions and documented proofs, examines the above-mentioned issues.
