As relative freedom from dangers and threats, feeling of security imbues the individual with physical and mental peace and plays a vital role in safeguarding the mental and social health of the society. On the contrary, feeling of insecurity, in the form of dangers and threats, agitates the individual and, thus, the society. This article is an attempt to investigate the relationship between feeling of security and mental health and vice versa in the Holy Quran. It addresses the questions: Which factors generate feeling of security and, consequently, mental health? Which factors threaten them? The following hypotheses were developed accordingly: Remembrance of Allah in one s beliefs and behavior generates feeling of security and mental health while feeling of weakness, poverty and avoidance of Allah s remembrance all threaten them. This is a documentary research based on the Holy Quran, Qura nic exegeses and some books on psychology. The results indicate that those remembering Allah enjoy mental security, peace and health while those who fail to remember Him suffer from mental insecurity. Avoidance has two meanings in the Quran: Avoidance of the world and avoidance of Allah . Mankind would attain mental security, peace and health through avoidance of the world.

Monotheism and ikhlās (literally sincerity) have always topped the divine agenda followed by the holy prophets. According to the Holy Qur’an, humans and genies were solely created to worship God sincerely. Not only “sincerity”, but also words and phrases such as “desiring His goodwill”, “who submits himself entirely to Allah”, “if they were sincere to Allah”, “who sells himself to seek the pleasure of Allah”, “only seeking the countenance of Allah”, “pure”, “devote yourself to Him” all prove this claim. While some scholars denounce worship for the sake of entering paradise or avoiding hell against sincerity, it is hypocrisy and worship for the sake of winning worldly gains which is against sincerity. Therefore, sincerity varies according to the knowledge of the worshipper and has, thus, different stages. This article addresses sincerity in belief, worship, zakāt, khoms, hajj, umrah, jihād, infāq, it’ām, bai’at, hijrat, witnessing, alms-giving, and so on. Allah the Almighty refers to prophets as mukhlīs (literally sincere) servants who asked nothing for their mission.

Love is an innate and natural need of man's soul and he is always in search of somebody to be his beloved. Prayer or supplication, appearing in its highest form as worshiping, is in fact the most beautiful manifestation of love, the innate assets of man which originates from the heart of human soul. The affectionate prayers of the saints are samples of their endless love toward the presence of God and their deep insight toward that Divine Being. The uneasiness and frenzies are apparent in some of their prayers. Sahifeh Sajjadiah "The Prayer Collection of Imam Sajjad", also called the Psalm book of Mohammad's progeny, includes beautiful and everlasting prayers of Imam Sajjad (Peace Be upon Hirn). Likewise, in prose texts of Persian literature, the passionate love has lots of prominence and is the theme or content of many prayers. This study is an attempt to examine the traces of love and affection in the prayers of Imam Sajjad and Persian prose texts and provide an opportunity to compare them.

There are various ideas and definitions on "globalization" and any of the scholars have looked at this issue from a specific perspective, have had either a positive or a negative attitude. The analysis of these ideas and definitions has indicated that there exists a gap as to the perspective of Qur'an on this concept; whether Qur'an has made any references to it or as it is claimed by the westerners it has emerged as a result of their novel innovation. Therefore, the researcher intended to resolve this question with reference co Qur'an and other interpretative resources in a descriptive and analytical mariner. Results have revealed that Qur'an expressed the idea of globalization over fourteen centuries ago and provided a definition too different from the westerners and has explicitly referred to this concept in various verses. These verses can be presented in three forms as objectives, readers, and general concepts.

As two pillars of the Qur’anic exegesis, the style and context of revelation have long held the attention of Shiite and Sunni commentators of the Qur’an. Undoubtedly, the context of revelation should be compatible with the style to gain reliability and credence. This paper studies their impact on understanding the Qur’an and compares Al-e Imran’s contexts of revelation in Shiite and Sunni exegeses of the Qur’an to determine their reliability and compatibility with the style. This is a comparative-analytic textological study. If there be compatibility between the context of revelation and style, the commentator would use the context of revelation to understand the Qur’anic verses.

Communication is a major part of every person's life and family interactions. Familiarity with the components of family communication is of great importance because of the underlying role of the family in the upbringing of children. This descriptive and analytical study of human relations in the family has drawn from the perspective of the Holy Qur'an and narrations. Communication in the family has a wide scope and is done both verbally and non-verbally. Constructive verbal communication through the preaching and guidance of children in the form of "preaching" plays an important role in the formulation of hearts among family members. Non-verbal communication channels are also widespread, with different dimensions being explained in the narratives, and the Holy Quran emphasizes body movements and time use, especially with regard to parents. It is also the most comprehensive form of child-to-parent communication called 'Ehsan', and in fact, the logic of Islam is to use all capacities to build constructive human communication for the family. Understanding the model of Islamic communication in family interactions promises to be a society benefiting from the benefits of constructive and immune-free communication practices.

Significant advancements in empirical sciences have intensified feelings of self-forgetfulness, emptiness, meaninglessness, stress, and loneliness in humans. As a result, individuals in our time more than any other time need a solid foundation for guidance. The belief in "Mahdism," which is a common belief among all Abrahamic religions and has a special prominence in Shia Islam, can serve as a strong and salvific foundation against cognitive, ethical, and psychological crises with utmost effectiveness. In this article, we delve into the various dimensions of this idea from the perspective of Quranic verses and Islamic narrations and its role in addressing various crises in modern society, as well as addressing some intellectual doubts rose against this idea. By referencing religious and rational sources, we will analyze and elucidate the Islamic perspective on the Mahdi and his revolutionary efforts.Modern humans desire peace, wisdom, and justice, which are lofty ideals. Based on historical texts and religious narrations, Imam Mahdi is a figure who will realize these ideals and overthrow the adversaries. Imam Mahdi will establish a government based on justice that will encompass the entire world. He will actualize the Quranic invitation: "Say, O! People of the Book come to a word that is equitable between us and you." (Quran, 3:64).Religious evidence indicates that Imam Mahdi establishes an ideal relationship among individuals and eliminates discord, oppression, and ignorance. He establishes a government based on kindness and mercy by actualizing the Quranic verse "The believers are brothers" (Quran, 49:10). There are over three thousand hadiths from the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and the impeccable Imams specifically related to the topic of the Imam of the Time. These hadiths can be found in Shia and Sunni texts. It is noteworthy that many renowned Sunni scholars have published specialized books on the topic of the Imam Zaman (AS). Throughout history, the concept of anticipation and hope for a brighter future has been a common belief among nations and religions and will continue to be so. This outlook is intrinsic to humanity. However, the difference lies in the representative of civilization and the leader of global sovereignty. Within the framework of Shia thought, emphasis is placed on the honorable Imam who experiences the hardships of life like any other individual. He holds authority among the people and is a partner in their joys and sorrows. There are two distinct forms of anticipation. The first type is recognized as effective, empowering, and enduring anticipation, which can even be considered a form of selflessness and service to the truth. On the other hand, the second type of anticipation is deemed sinful, destructive, and paralyzing, ultimately leading to captivity.In the contemporary era, there is an increasing consensus that a global leader is necessary to address the multiple crises we are facing. This leader will have the ability to eradicate wars, conflicts, power abuse, colonialism, and other forms of injustice and inequality. However, it is essential to identify an individual with the necessary qualities to fulfill this important role. The global leader who will bear this immense responsibility must serve as a role model.Critics of Shiism believe that according to the beliefs of this school of thought, the hidden Imam must now have lived for almost twelve centuries, which is impossible for any human being. In response, it must be clarified that this criticism is merely based on the improbability of such a scenario, not its impossibility. In fact, a lifespan of this length or even longer is usually impossible, but not logically impossible. However, those who delve into the hadiths of the Prophet of Islam and the impeccable Imams find that they describe this life as miraculous. A miracle is by no means impossible, and it cannot be refuted with scientific arguments. Furthermore, it is strange that these criticisms arise from the People of the Book, including Jews, Christians, and some Muslims, as they themselves accept the miracles of the prophets of God based on their holy scriptures.According to the Islamic traditions and Quranic verses, it can be concluded that Imam Mahdi will appear to restore the position of the heavenly book and the teachings of the Prophet of Islam. He will establish global justice and renew the spiritual essence of the religious community. These are issues that no prophet has succeeded in fully realizing. The real life of the book and tradition lies in implementing global justice. The ultimate goal and purpose of God in creation will be fully realized through the most selfless servants, reformers, and devoted followers of the Prophet of Islam.Imam Mahdi will begin his mission by inviting people to a healthy and civilized life through faith. People worldwide, tired of the trials and tribulations of life and disillusioned with the emptiness of human ideologies, will respond eagerly and wholeheartedly to the call of Mahdi and strive to develop their mental powers and deepen their religious knowledge. Therefore, with determined resolve, leadership, and steadfast support from his loyal followers, Mahdi is poised to create a fundamental framework for a global governing body that upholds justice. The ultimate goal of Islam is to establish global justice (Quran, 57:25). God's definitive promise of victory guarantees the completion of Islam's historical philosophy, especially the triumph of the oppressed: "We wanted to bestow favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and inheritors." (Quran, 28:5) Belief in the Mahdi not only guarantees a hopeful outlook on the future of the world and humanity but also signifies a fundamental progress towards intellectual growth and maturity

Quran uses narrative elements to pursue its educational goal and does not continue the storytelling beyond that goal. The narrative of the Companions of the Cave is conveyed from the point of view of the only true, absolute, omniscient Narrator that, thus, provides details of the story while eliminating the need to cite any evidence or reference. Characters of the narrative are presented based on their inner intentions rather than their outer actions and the characters (even the dog) are dynamic, and, having stepped into the path of righteousness with absolutely free will, they become entitled to God’s guidance and mercy, achieve honor, and perform their best. Under such circumstances, even the cave they inhabited becomes sacred and turns into a place of worship approved by God. The time and the place of the story are not particularly recounted as if the story can hold true for any confrontation of tawhid )monotheism) and shirk (polytheism), and even the time of the narrative is divided into two periods of “shirk” and “faith” according to the conditions of the society. The conclusion (moral) of the narrative is presented directly and clearly without any introduction or digression, and providing such morals in different points of the narrative is one of the essential reasons why God narrates this and other Quranic stories.

Understanding the nature of Fatemeh Zahra (PBUH), this perfect woman, is both easy and difficult. It is easy because she has innumerable virtues and excellences, and difficult due to the inaccessibility of the depth of her character. The present paper addresses this issue with ontological, epistemological and sociological approaches. Relying on the knowledge from the holy Book and the Prophet’s progeny as well as theQuranic, prophetic, Alavite and imamate teachings, this paper expounds on the individual excellences of Fatemeh Zahra (PBUH) including the following: representing the proof of God for people, being Imam Ali’s partner, being a manifestation of the holy Prophet, the truth of Kawthar, general guardianship, and her devotion to and sincerity before the Sublime Being. This paper also deals with her social excellences such as being the daughter of the holy Prophet, the wife of God’s guardian and the mother of the immaculate Imams, and attempts to explain her social qualities based on her individual virtues. In the final section of the paper, attempt has been made to arrive at a relative, formal understanding of this woman whose creation and existence haveboth been heavenly, so that she becomes a role model to all those who long for perfection, yearn to encounter God, desire to have happiness and prosperity and seek success in all scientific, practical, individual, social and family areas.

One of the most significant issues discussed in both religion and science is the first creation of man and his generation. To prove consistency of Islam with the scientific beliefs in this respect can undoubtedly contribute to promotion of Islam, which serves as the major objective of the present research. Using a descriptive-analytic methodology, this paper seeks to examine Darwin’s theory of human evolution based on the outlook of Allameh Tabataba’i, the great philosopher and exegete of the world of Islam, as provided in Al-Mīzān Commentary. According to Allameh’s view, the verses of the Quran explicitly state that all human beings are decedents of Adam and Eve and are created through natural processes. However, the physical aspect of the creation of Adam and Eve is autonomous and directly from soil and mud and the spiritual aspect of their creation refers to the Divine Will and Divine Breathing. According to Darwin’s theory of evolution, man evolved from other animals as a result of the environmental requirements. One should admit, however, that this remains a scientific hypothesis which has not reached the level of scientific proof and certainty, as their proponents have failed to provide convincing responses to the challenges posed by scientists, philosophers and religious scholars. In view of Allameh Tabataba’i, there is consistency between science and religion and the theory of evolution remains a scientific hypothesis for which there is no absolute support, and even on the condition that it be true and given that it be supported by scientific and absolute evidence, the outward meaning of some verses of the Quran which reject this theory is open to interpretation.

Tabarruj [a woman’s display of beauty in an improper place] is expressly forbidden in the Qur’an. Its scope is defined in the Qur’an wider than only the way a woman dresses and it includes tabarruj in behaviour, tabarruj in the content of ones words, etc. as well. In other words, any kind of displaying and showing off one’s beauties and beautifications in the presence of non-mahram men [i.e. men in the presence of whom a woman is required to have hijāb], which indeed facilitates committing sins, will be counted as tabarruj, be it in the way she dresses, behaves or speaks. In addition to making references the Qur'an verses, this paper employs a library method of data collection and a descriptive-analytical method of data handling to prove that all kinds of tabarruj, including tabarruj in dress, in behaviour, in words, etc. are forbidden in the view of the Qur'an teachings.

Analyzing the issue of textual order in the Quran with a linguistic approach underlies a whole new inquiry into the structure of the Quran which sets linguistic text studies as its model to uncover a new dimension of this order. By order, the present study means not merely an investigation of semantic decorum in the classical sense of the term but the structural and phonetic structure of the Quran. The methodology adopted in this research divides the verses into micro and macro levels. After validating the methods of discovering the inner order through textual analysis, the style of authenticating the current structure, ordering inside a chapter and parsing analysis as well as extracting the structures of the verses and analyzing them were selected. At the level of meaning-oriented wisdom, issues such as creating semantic order through the presentation of specific clichés (at lexical and compositional levels), objective repetition of independent clichés, creating semantic order by focusing on a subject, creating semantic order by repeating a phrase (reviewing quick and easy repetitions, repetition of words with derivations and omissions, and reduction and addition in Quranic phrases) were investigated. By analyzing separate structures and giving a special attention to meaning alongside structure, it is possible to unravel the unity of the procedure in the text of the Quran pointing to complex and at the same time true relations among the Quranic units. It can be concluded that the order of the Quran lies in the innovative subtleties of structure and meaning at the time of revelation. The present study uses a descriptive-analytic methodology and is conducted via extensive literature review.

One the highly debatable issues between Muslim scholars and orientalists is the conceptual coherence between verses in the holy Quran. The proportion of verses of the holy Quran as a form of knowledge attracted the attention of Islamic scholars. In order to eliminate the lack of relation between the verses inside surah, the discovery, identification, and explanation of the lines of communication of the verses of the Quran is essential, and it helps better understanding, establishment of the purpose of a surah, and ultimately the comprehension of all the verses of the divine words. Surah of al-Baqara is one of the surahs which includes various concepts and themes such as God, faith, history and heritage, prophecy, and opponents of the truth. The hypocrites, the Arabs, and the Israelites are among the dissenters who have showed different reactions towards this surah in response to the invitation of the prophets and the consequences of their actions. By discovering, identifying, and explaining these two lines of communication, a relationship is firmly established between the verses of Surah al-Baqarah, and the apparent ambiguity and dispersion are disappeared in Surah. Saying prayer as a kind of supplication and religious practice is meant for establishing an growing and direct relationship between God Almighty and men and interestingly is commonly found in all divine religions of the world. Muslims and Zoroastrians are required to practice this worshiping act. The present research, drawing on the written resources of Islam and Zoroastrianism and following a library research method, aimed to compare saying prayer as manifested in the above mentioned heavenly religions i.e. Islam and Zoroastrianism. Furthermore, the similarities and the differences between these two religions in terms of saying prayer were studied. The results suggested that saying prayer enjoys a high status in both Islam and Zoroastrianism. In addition, a number of similarities between Islam and Zoroastrianism were found including positive effects of saying prayer on human beings’ relations with God, its purifying effect on everyone’s soul, its manifestation as a symbol of thanking God for his numerous blessings, the daily schedule of saying prayers for five times, and the religious age when saying prayer is required as a religious practice. The research also suggested that saying prayer is on a par with other kinds of worshiping in Zoroastrianism while it is the cornerstone and the main axis of religion in Islam. Therefore, Islamic style of saying prayer has no alternative and must be practiced consecutively and nonstop, enjoys a proliferated set of types of practice, and whether other kinds of worshiping practices would be accepted or rejected by God depends on acceptance or rejection of one’s saying prayer. Some intellectual thinkers who have non-religious viewpoint and study revelation from a non-Quranic perspective, bring up the subject of religious experience and claim an agent role for the Prophet in the act of revelation. For them, God has merely granted a capability to the Prophet or other people and via this special gift and ability, they can utter words by themselves and under the influence of their own contemporary culture and these very words make up the Holy Book. The present paper attempts to criticize this claim based on Quranic verses as well as religion evidence and proof and also through a re-reading of the role of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the revelation of the Qur'an. We argue that the Prophet, in the revelation of the Qur'an, had the role of a receiver and not that of an agent. The Qur'an is not the result of the religious experience of the Prophet and is not his words; rather, it is the very word of God; that is to say, the Qur'an is directly sent from God and the Prophet was merely the receiver of these words.

“Patience” in religious teachings is known as one of the basic concepts of faith. The term is used in combination with other derivaties 103 times in Qur’an. That shows the importance of the character ethic of Islam and Qur’an. The term preserving the literal and technical meaning is associated with many religious and ethical concepts. Accordingly, explain the relationship of patience to concepts such as prayer, faith, piety, Islam, certainty, goodness are some of the issues that will be discussed in this article. This artide uses descriptive-analytical ways in an orderly process to identify the term in dictionaries and then analyze and recover the meaning of the patience with a comprehensive out look to the entire taxt of the Qur’an. Checking the meaning of patience in the Qur’an is the centeral issue of this research. Patience in the Qur’an have been accompained with a number of concepts and words such as “piety”, “prayer”, “zakat”, “enjoing good and for bidding the wrong”, “believe”, “Islam”, “certainty”, and “goodness”. The words “Helm” and “Anahi” have a succession relationship with the word “patience”. As the word “patience” has a contrary relationship with words like “hurry” and “onyx” and the examples of the interaction of these tow words can be seen in the Qur’an.

Zurghani is one of the eminent writers in compiling the quranic sciences and history, and since the issue of organizing the Quranic verses has a special importance among the topics on the history of the Quran, the present research has tried to evaluate and criticize his views on this subject using an analytical-critical method to recognize the true reality. Zurghani’s claim about being apprehending or striving of organizing of the Quran chapters (Surah) in the book “Manahilul Erfanfi Olumul Quran” is a separation method. He does not have the same claim in organizing all of Quran chapters, and considers some of them apprehending and some striving. His reasons for this claim are: (a) accepting this theory from some great scholars, (b) some traditions that speak about being apprehending some chapters clearly and are silent about some other chapters, (c) some traditions which speak about being striving parts of the Quranic chapters. However, his reasons would be wrong because of these rules respectively: (a) negating characterism and the necessity for proving this claim. (b) Proving something does not put down others, (c) possibility falsifies proofs, (d) when two rules conflict, their validity downfall. Accordingly, if this claim is true- and we know it is not and the competitors are strong- no strong implication support it too.

از پندارهای مغرضانه برخی مستشرقان که تحت لوای به چالش کشیدن قرآن مطرح شده، تقابل ظاهری فحوای برخی آیات است. «عصمت انبیا» یکی از این موارد می باشد که در آیات متعددی بر آن تأکید شده است. در مقابل؛ برخی دیگر از آیات که در عرف مفسران به «آیات عتاب» مشهور گشته اند، آن گونه که از ظاهر آنها نیز برداشت می گردد، با موضوع عصمت منافات داشته و این دو ناسازگار جلوه می نمایند. نوشتار حاضر سعی می کند با هدف پاسخ گویی به این شبهه، بر اساس مطالعه توصیفی تحلیلی شصت و پنجمین آیه سوره زمر: (و لقد اوحی الیک و الی الذین من قبلک لئن اشرکت لیحبطن عملک و لتکونن من الخاسرین) در منابع فریقین؛ ضمن بیان مفهوم عصمت و تبیین وجه توحیدی جهت آیه، نظریات مفسرانی که خطاب را کنایی و یا حقیقی می دانند مطرح نموده و نظر به کارکردهای بلاغی و سیاق؛ به شبهه زدایی مسأله تعارض آیه با بحث عصمت بپردازد.

The history of this event has been studied by various researchers from different perspectives. Some of these studies consider this event as an unexpected event and without prior planning. On the other hand, others have claimed that it was designed by a group of Ansar in which a group of Mohajerin had participated in without planning and finalized it to their advantage. Consumption is one of the main economic characters of any society, in a way that the proper ratio between production and consumption in the economy is necessary. One of the principles of economics, the apparent difference in economic systems based on human thought and the Islamic economic system, is the parsimony contradiction principle or the stingy dilemma. According to this principle, if saving occurs at the individual level but it does not increase the mobilization of investment, consumption has decreased at the macro level and thus production has decreased which, in turn, diminishes the national income. It seems that this principle challenges many of the teachings of Islam, such as the prohibition of excessive consumption and moderate consumption. Thus, the aim of this paper is to study the teachings of the Quran via a descriptive-analytical method to answering the riddle of saving. Among the results of this study, we can refer to the Quranic model of consumption as an optimized model of resource allocation pattern, as well as the incentives to increase the marginal propensity for consumption at the macro level, which bring about results such as charity, Zakat, Khums, donations, loans and investments which propel savings to create the flow of money in the economy.
