Value is an essential and inseparable part in any decision and policymaking. Likewise, it plays a very significant part in the process of policymaking and the way people adopt policy. Th.is study has attempted to examine the role of Islamic values, chiefly trust and piety, in the political policymaking through the use of contents analysis method. Further, it has focused on the effects and advantages of trust and piety in the political policymaking.
