Abstract
This srudy is an attempt to briefly review, though with acuity,the book titled: "political History of Islam" (Biogmphy of the Prophet). The major goal is to incite the writer to pay adequate attention to h.is invaluable works and thus revise them in terms of content, literary, and formal errors. Thereby, this study can contribute to the process of reviewing and criticizing aimed at development and reform in science and knowledge. The present study focuses on t;he following issues: Content analysis, including contradictions in narrarion of historical facts, undue negligence in elaborating some essential or controversial issues in the history of Islam, etc; methodological analysis, including reliability of Sunni traditions and narratives on significant events of the Islamic history, etc; literary as well as morphological _an'!lysis; editing analysis which comprises the most urgent necessity in this book resulting from the high frequency of errors of this type which may in certain parts of the book necessitate the overall revision or rewriting. in all, while this study enumerate some editing rules, it provides the readers with the probtematic areas which need to be taken info consideration. While absolute accuracy is not climed,the intention is to provide the statements cliset to the true value, hopefully.
