Undoubtedly, the Holy Quran contains divine unchanging traditions that, beyond the scope of time and space, explain the rules governing social and historical developments. Surah Al-Ahzab, verses 9 to27,depicts one of the most dangerous periods in the history of early Islam, namely, the “War of the Parties. This research, using the method of “comparative thematic interpretation” and relying on the content analysis of Ayatollah Khamenei’s statements, answers the fundamental question of how the divine traditions contained in Surah Al-Ahzab have been reproduced in his analysis of the political-security developments of the Islamic Revolution. The research hypothesis is that in Ayatollah Khamenei’s intellectual system, the War of the Parties is not a historical report, but a “living strategic model” for understanding and confronting contemporary combined and cognitive war. The research findings are organized into five main axes:comparing the “upper and lower” coalition with the united front of arrogance and internal hypocrisy; comparing the “earthquake of hearts” with psychological warfare and modern despair; Matching the "heart disease" trend with the phenomenon of influence and sedition; matching the "digging a trench" strategy with the doctrine of active resistance and jihad of explanation; and matching the promise of "God will return those who disbelieve..." with the failure of subversive projects in recent decades
The research findings show that from Ayatollah Khamenei's perspective, the divine traditions of Surah AlAhzab still govern today's civilizational battlefield, and the difference between the battlefields is solely in the tools and technologies, not in the laws of victory and defeat.
